From time to time, when the need arises or a problem presents itself, I write my own software. Listed below are the projects I still work on from time to time. You’re welcome to contact me with questions or if you need some form of support.
EVE Launcher
Many players of the EVE Online MMORPG run multiple clients with multiple accounts, or like to access other applications while playing. Switching out of full screen mode takes more time and causes more crashes and that’s why I wrote EVE Launcher.
EVE Launcher allows the player to configure where a desktop-sized EVE window should be shifted, when to bring it to the front and will do so automatically after logging in. In doing so, it replaces ShiftWindow, which I also wrote.
Timers
A very simple program that allows you to set any number of alarms and countdowns, in a compact window. There must be a million stopwatch programs out there, but I felt the need to add another and you’re welcome to it.
Windows Caps-Lock Fix
As a frequent Ventrilo user, I needed a Push-to-talk key that would not get in the way. Caps Lock, a Windows key or the Popup-menu key are all good candidates, since I didn’t need any of those for their original intended purposes. Here you’ll find registry files to ‘fix’ these keys and have them behave like F13, F14 and F15 instead.

Kudos on ShiftWindow. It’s a rather brilliant app and works fine on W10 and I assume without trying it there yet, on W11. Appears v1.2 is latest version. Works flawlessly on DOA5LR and Need for Speed Carbon shifting both to my secondary 4K monitor. Can SW be used in a batch file? Both games above are set for 4K rez. When opened they cover the primary 1440P monitor screen totally. I have to dig around for SW to get the games moved over to the secondary. There might be a timing issue with a bat file, which would have to open the game first then step around the game to launch and execute SW, then run the appropriate trigger. Any thoughts? TY
